I'm doing it just to be different. I know in some parts of the country Zs are pretty rare, but where I've lived they're not uncommon. My car is due for a $2000 repaint, so I figure why not make it a $2500 repaint and make it a little more personalized than before. A lot of people will do this kind of thing when the opportunity presents itself, IE when you hit something on the road and it rips your front fascia off. You're right, the Z is a great looking car out of the box - but I've had mine for 4 years now and I'm just trying to keep it 'new to me' and interesting. With 140,000 miles on my TT it's barely worth $10k, and it's hard to find a 400 hp sportscar in that price range, so I figure I'll just hold onto it and make it interesting. I do waffle a lot on what I want to do - sometimes I think full body kit, sometimes I think just a wing, right now I'm leaning towards new wing and side skirts. Hehehe. BUT... to each his own. Your comments to Lady300 were pretty rude and uncalled for.
